I am just about to submit a proposal to the Arts council for funding to create a “living space” installation at Nottingham train station. This exciting proposed project involves the design, creation and installation of an innovative “living room” at Nottingham train station. Situated in a large glass case in the main foyer the installation will be an autobiographical piece centred around the theme of the passing of time. I love the idea of a small, calm, sealed space surrounded by thousands of animated people. On closer inspection the “room” will tell a remarkable story through its inanimate objects.
If I am successful this will be my first solo exhibition and a major milestone in my artistic career to date.
